The successful candidate will contribute fully to promote risk awareness and perform controls on transversal activities setups and on system inefficiencies by developing, improving and handling quality reviews within the control framework, and being involved in the preparation of securities migrations as well as in the analysis and the follow ups of actions plans and best practices to maintain operational setups quality.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Ensure effective and efficient set up of Standard Settlement Instructions requests;
  • Actively participate to large securities migration projects;
  • Monitor daily controls and exceptions; take appropriate actions to solve operational issue and system inefficiencies to ensure no backlog is created ;
  • Review and analyse existing transversal setups effectiveness and efficiency, then develop solutions for improving them ;
  • Provide a regular statement to the Operations & Custody Support Manager
  • Evaluate reports and data to identify improvements opportunities and associated issues and risks. Identify quantifiable metrics and benchmarks, such as Key Performance Indicators to track the overall activity improvement ;
  • Develop relationships with internal business functions and suppliers
  • Ensure best practices are shared and understood within Operations teams. Act as the First Point of Contact for any systems setups issues.

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • University degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Finance, Business
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in banking activities, or similar position
  • Sound knowledge of the Bank’s business flows
  • Knowledge related to the Bank organization, processes, products and services
  • Good written and oral communication skills
