Purpose of the Job

The candidate works as part of the Transformation Office and He/She reports directly to the Head of Transformation.
The Sr Project manager is responsible for the effective delivery (i.e., in respect of timing, budget and agreed quality levels) of the assigned project(s), introduces sustainable processes ensuring effective and efficient execution as well as maintenance, monitoring and reporting of the relevant project(s).
Quintet Switzerland is undergoing a broad and comprehensive transformation, impacting more specifically all key Client Lifecycle processes front-to-back: Client On- boarding, Changes in Circumstances / Client Administration, Account Blocking and Account closure. The Sr Project manager will lead the transformation of the Client Lifecycle activities, working in close collaboration and partnership with the Head of Client Lifecycle Management. Scope of work spans from the design of best-practice processes through to their implementation in the existing systems in the most efficient manner possible to enhance Front Office and Client experience.

Key Accountabilities

·    Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project, incl. identi-fying resources required to deliver projects within the defined timelines
·    Plan, execute and monitor the delivery of a portfolio of projects across the bank within budget, scope & timelines 
·    Ensure deliverables meet the required standards of quality & the initial requirements
·    Identify issues, risks on the projects, design & implement mitigating actions
·    Report project progress & milestones to senior management, incl. risks & issues es-calation
·    Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs, work collaboratively & efficiently with all stakeholders
·    Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
·    Contribute to process improvement initiatives, Group-wide or locally
·    Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
·    Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address initial busi-ness goals while improving ways of working and client experience ( when applicable)

Knowledge and Experience

•    Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or Business admin-istration, technological or engineering sciences
•    Between 5 and 10 years of experience in Project Management

•    Strong people management skills with proven leadership abilities that motivate both direct and indirect teams to per-form their best
•    Ability to work within an environment that is entrepreneurial and innovative and be able to utilize a common sense ap-proach with sound judgement and provide clear direction
•    Strong understanding of banks regulatory requirements, expectations and business impacts
•    Proven records of successful delivery of complex, multi-year cross-functional programmes
•    Strong stakeholder management and able to achieve consen-sus across multiple stakeholders
•    Strong front-to back knowledge of wealth management  and institutional asset management industry and ability to un-derstand the business from multiple functional perspectives
•    Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
•    Strong interpersonal skills, showing pragmatism and ‘get thing done’ mentality

Technical Skills

•    Good understanding of IT architecture 
•    Good understanding of process management
•    Project management practice and tools
•    MS Office tools

Languages Skills

Fluent in English (written and verbal), German / French is an advantage
