Purpose of the job


Successfully managing a team of client advisors, developing new business networks and being a role model of commercial leadership. Development of the business flow while maintaining the existing clientele, portfolio management.Reporting the activities of the team to the a member of the Management Committee.

Key accountabilities


Managing the team (50%)

  • Managing the team: coaching, assistance, setting the commercial objectives of the client advisors
  • Developing new client networks and taking commercial actions to succeed hand in hand with the client advisors
  • Promoting cooperation within the team, creating value through the group dynamics
  • Be a role model to his/her team and colleagues
  • Allocating resources in the best possible way and be compliant with the bank's rules on clients expectations and service model 
  • Creating value by  organizing one to ones with the team and periodically following the commercial results of the client advisors
  • Coaching the client advisors to reach the professional knowledge required to perform their duties
  • Ensuring that the bank's operational procedures are known and can be applied
  • Identify training needs according to the skills required, provide on-the-job training, and supervise new employees
  • Control of the tasks delegated to staff members of the team. 
  • Create a positive environment with regard to the bank's internal controls and regulatory and prudential obligations.
  • Supervision and follow-up of the reports of MIS, Risk Management, Compliance and Audit.
  • Draw up budgets, monitor costs and analyze P&L
  • Building and maintaining constructive relationships between his/her team and the other departments.

Commercial leadership (50%)

  • Organization of commercial events and/or systematic participation in events organized by Puilaetco, follow-up of contacts together with the client advisors
  • Proactive commercial prospecting to develop new client networks
  • Nursing and retaining the existing clientele; regular contacts with the clientele in function of the standards set by the bank according to the size of the portfolios and development of the business flow with the existing clientele. 
  • Knowledge of the products and services offered by the bank (estate planning, third party funds, loans, etc.)

Skills and Qualities


  • Degree in an economic, financial or legal direction, or equivalent through experience
  • Strong financial knowledge and background
  • Strong network within the private banking sector
  • Entrepreneurial and open mindset, with a strong need for challenge and change
  • Strong commercial skills with good relationship management skills 
  • Analytic mindset and having the capacity to analyze problematic situations and provide solutions for client advisors
