Purpose of the Job

As part of the development of the Group HR function, we are looking to appoint an experienced Reward & Performance Specialist (on an interim 12 - 18 month FTC) to work closely with the Head of Compensation & Performance on harmonising number of key Reward initiatives as well as cyclical activities, including mid-year review, annual performance and bonus cycle

Key Accountabilities

Support Head of Compensation & Performance to:

Project level
- Lead and/or support key upcoming harmonisation project(s), including but not limited to
- rolling out of salary benchmarking across the group
- benefits harmonisation
- contract harmonisation
- automation of bonus calculation and approval
- corporate title roll out

BAU level
- be a single point of contact for all compensation and performance related matters for assigned functions
- advise business and Group HR colleagues (e.g. Recruiter, HRBP) on market benchmark data and related deferred compensation for new hires or internal promotions (offer production)
- ensure a robust process is developed and deployed to identify MRT employee
- work with Head of Executive Compensation and Global Mobility on ad-hoc requests in relation to deferred compensation
- ensure internal equity in regards to promotion and/or new hires
- support the mid-year and annual performance process
- support annual compensation/bonus process by working with functional leaders

Process level
- develop material, guidelines, process description for Compensation & Performance activity
- define and own hiring and internal promotion process and ensuring robust budget management working in partnership with Finance and Functional leader
- manage the new hire / promotion offer process, including variable compensation and work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and across locations.
- own any financial reporting relating to compensation, including deferred compensation and variable bonus accrual

Knowledge and Experience

• Commercially focused Compensation & Performance practitioner with proven and relevant experience within financial/banking sector working across a broad Reward & Performance agenda in either a leading or advising Comp & Benefits role.
• Knowledge of European, UK and Swiss legislation from a compensation perspective.
• Previous experience of Performance Management systems.
• Experience of using SuccessFactors  would be advantageous but not necessary
• Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment and provide information in a concise and timely way.
• Project management experience will support overall success

Familiar working within international organisations (matrix structure) undergoing complex BAU and managing a transformational change agenda.
Ability to work autonomously and with initiative.
Effective communicator able to bring people together to understand complex subjects in an easy way.
Problem solver with a positive approach, proactive attitude, actively supporting others and works collaboratively across the team.
Understands the importance of responding to stakeholders quickly whilst working on the solutions; managing expectations.
Adherence to confidentiality, data protection is a prerequisite

Technical Skills

Numerate and well used to working with complex data files.
MS Office (PPT, Word, Excel), SuccessFactors (advantage)
EU, UK, Swiss remuneration regulations (eg CRD IV, AIFMD, UCITS, PRA guidelines, etc) also an advantage
GDPR regulatory knowledge.

Languages Skills

Fluent in English
