The successful candidate will work as part of the Finance function for the Group. She/he will be part of a team which monitors developments in banking regulations related to financial reporting and capital requirements and then defines and implements the right IFRS compliant policies and solutions to support the bank’s development. She/he will join an experienced team and have the opportunity to work on a wide range of European entities and financial matters
Act as an expert in prudential regulation by identifying, analysing and assessing the impact of prudential (CRD/CRR) regulatory change on the group and its subsidiaries/branches and then, informing relevant stakeholder within the group.
Monitor EBA, CSSF, IFRS and other relevant publications to provide a central point of expertise, knowledge and advice.
Actively participate in translating directives and regulations into practical business requirements.
Provide expertise, knowledge and advice for the management and Finance users with regards to the application of the financial regulation and the best ICT process.
Analyse the regulatory constraints and impacts of new products/activities considered by the bank.
Meet all new regulatory requirements in due time and ensure compliance of the reporting with IFRS and Group valuation rules by implementing and delivering the designed solutions, in close cooperation with the Finance teams and software providers
Knowledge and Experience
Bac +4 minimum in Economics, Finance or Accounting.
Strong knowledge of banking regulation.
Experience in delivering on regulatory projects.
5+ years of experience in financial regulation in banks, pref-erably in Luxembourg.

Experienced in accounting and applicable GAAP’s in Luxembourg (IFRS and LuxGAAP) and a good understanding of local GAAP’s in countries where Quintet owns affiliates and branches.
Good knowledge in the valuation methodologies of financial instruments (financial theory and practical processes)
Knowledge of all banking products and activities
Proficiency in industry standard accounting and regulatory reporting tools/data warehouses such as SAP BI, WKFS Report Generator, Business Objects
