The successful candidate will work as part of the Finance function for the Group. She/he will be in charge of monitoring developments in banking regulations related to financial reporting and capital requirements and then defining and implementing the right IFRS compliant policies and solutions to support the bank’s development. She/he will join an experienced team and have the opportunity to work on a wide range of European entities and financial matters.
Act as the central point of expertise, knowledge and advice for the AMC and all Finance stakeholders across with group with regards to the application of financial regulation and related IT requirements.
Inform AMC and line management of financial and technical impacts of all new products/activities or group expansion/reorganisation considered by the Bank or its subsidiaries/branches.
Assess the impact of all financial regulatory changes for Quintet and its subsidiaries/branches and define efficient solutions relating to FinRep, LiqRep and CoRep.
Meet all new regulatory requirements in due time and ensure compliance of the reporting with IFRS and Group valuation rules by implementing and delivering the designed solutions, in close cooperation with the Finance teams and software providers.
Manage a team of regulation experts.
Participate in external working groups, notably the ABBL
Knowledge and Experience
Bac +4 minimum in Economics, Finance or Accounting.
Expert in banking regulation.
Strong track record delivering on regulatory projects.
10+ years of experience in financial regulation in banks, preferably in Luxembourg.

Ability to synthesize complex regulation and explain impact to the both finance experts and the business.
Ability to conduct meetings across multiple functions and locations in the group.
Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and deliver on multiple projects within tight deadlines.
Expert in European/Luxembourg financial and prudential regulation and good understanding of those in force where Quintet owns affiliates and branches.
Experienced in accounting and applicable GAAP’s in Luxembourg (IFRS and LuxGAAP) and a good understanding of local GAAP’s in countries where Quintet owns affiliates and branches.
Strong knowledge of accounting systems, banking products and activities.
Proficiency in industry standard accounting and regulatory reporting tools/data warehouses such as SAP BI, WKFS Report Generator, Business Objects.
