The purpose of this function is to autonomously manage a variety of clients’ credit files (consumer, mortgage, corporate), from its administrative creation till its end, including its regular follow up during its existence.
Providing the credits
• Write conventions (credit, security, mortgage)
• Input credits in the IT and accounting systems
• Verify securities’ composition (portfolio, mortgage, insurances…)
• Liberate the money borrowed and verify that the credit purpose is respected when transferring it
• Provide information to the Credit Central (BNB)
• Ensure completeness of the paper and IT files
Reimbursements
• Manage prepayments
• Establish prepayments statements and mortgage release
• Confirm in writing to clients their credit’s deadline or total prepayment
Controls
• Guarantee the quality of the operations and data related to the credits (control of the analysis, compliance with procedure and law, match with the client data from the CRM…)
• Authorize the exit of cash/securities on the accounts by managing the security level
• Control and manage the possible calls for margin
• Control of payment of due dates (follow up of debit accounts)
• Control of movements on the credit accounts
• Very quality and accuracy of the credit conventions
• Master degree (preferably in Economics or Legal fields)
• At least 5 years of experience in administration and management of consumption and mortgage credits (write contracts, contact clients, input in the system, follow up credits during their existence, manage prepayments…)
• Experience in credit management in the banking sector (ideally in a Private Bank) or in a leasing company, factoring, BIG4, accountancy practice, notaries…
• A traning in credit management is a plus (ex : Febelfin)
• Excellent organisation to collect and handle data
• Affinity with numbers
• Priority management to plan and organize the workload

• Ability to work autonomously and propose initiatives
• Ability to deal with specific or unforeseen demands

• Knowledge of private and corporate types of credits
• Write credit and security conventions
• Proficiency with IT and administrative related credits’ process
• Experience of the banking sector
• Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment for credits
• Bases of patrimonial law
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Advanced level of French or Dutch with a good knowledge of the other languages
• Sufficient knowledge of English (write mails, prepare reporting…)
