As Team Leader you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of one of the sub-teams within Quality Assurance (team Onboarding / team Review). In this role you will supervise, coach, inspire, coordinate and monitor team members, keep overview, approve files and take part in (E)CAC-meetings.
You will be leading a team of 10 to 15 analysts and in that capacity you will actively participate in the various meetings and projects within Private Banking and InsingerGilissen Services. First and foremost, you will be the first point of contact for operational matters re client onboarding and CDD reviews (depending on the sub team).
(Shared) responsibility for the quality of files provided for client onboarding / CDD reviews for Private Banking and InsingerGilissen Services. In doing so, you will prepare and attend Client Acceptance Committee (CAC) meetings and take initiatives for learning & development, coaching-on-the-job and process improvement when it comes to onboarding or CDD reviews.
Aside onboarding clients and reviewing periodic CDD reviews made by the front office, the Team is also responsible for Training & (Project) Support, Actions on Accounts and Management Information. Part of the duties of the team leader is making analyses, checks (1st line monitoring) and contributing and participating in projects.

Relevant professional experience as a team leader of a CDD/KYC department, compliance officer, risk manager or other roles within Private Banking.
Professional and intellectual abilities comparable to university level.
Several years of CDD/KYC experience and knowledge are a definite plus.
Solid knowledge of processes, procedures, products and systems within a bank or the willingness to quickly master that knowledge.
Knowledge of current developments within the target group/client group (laws and regulations like MIFID and ESMA).
Ability to optimise team performance through (cooperative) leadership and motivation.
Knowing how to strike the right balance between thinking and doing.
Capable of keeping an overview and setting priorities.
Curious and analytical mind with an eye for detail.
Effective communicator, resolute and proactive.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) are preferential.
Excellent/Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
