a) Provision of all legal advice necessary for the activities of the Bank and its entities in, and in relation to, Switzerland.
b) Identification and advice pertinent to mitigation of legal risks.
c) Assistance with legal advice on client complaints cases, management of litigation cases.
d) Ensuring appropriate reporting of legal risks and legal cases / projects to senior management of entities and Group, as appropriate.
e) Management of legal team in Switzerland, responsibility for the quality of the work delivered by the team.
f) Collaboration with legal teams outside Switzerland and legal teams responsible for the Group on legal framework, uniformity of approach, documentation, reporting, legal risks, as appropriate.
g) Assist senior management and other control functions in installing and embedding within the Swiss entity and its affiliates a compliance culture in line with the Group values.
h) Work closely with senior management, Compliance and other control functions to ensure visibility and understanding of regulatory and legal changes relevant to the entities.
i) Be accountable for the budget of the local Legal team and external counsel fees.
j) Participate in the Group Legal function management and Swiss entities management fora as well as any other Group meetings and committees, as necessary or requested
k) Represent the bank in banking sector working groups and other fora, as necessary.
