The Financial Analyst will be a member of our Group Finance Team and will report to the Head of Transfer Pricing. The primary role of this position is to focus on the operational aspect of Transfer Pricing and especially the calculation of cross border charges, supporting documentation reports and preparation.
• Support transfer pricing calculation, budget and reconciliation for the group
• Analyse and interpret agreements and as a result translate the final executed versions into calculation reports that ensure accuracy, completeness and conformance to the agreement and internal reporting standards
• Assist with project setup, responses to business requests and implementation of appropriate transfer pricing model into systems (TM1)
• Prepare and analyse quarterly calculations for budget, actual reporting, send pricing instructions to each entity, identifying any variances and resolving issues as needed
• Maintain detailed tracking tool and reporting results for calculation while ensuring a consistent and efficient process is followed
• Communicate new scenarios or changes to calculations when applicable
• Maintain and provide supporting documentation for work performed to internal and external audit teams as required
• Performing financial analysis associated with business initiatives, expansion and transactions
• Assisting with financial / economic analyses and building financial valuation models (benchmark)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar level role
• Master’s degree in economics or Business Administration (Finance, accounting, business strategy)
• Detail oriented with insight to determine applicability of big picture analysis and obsessing over details
• Strong financial, analytical and modelling skills
• Ability to learn quickly, perform detailed analyses, provide high value-add insights
• Ideally experience with analytical modelling, accounting and Tax in the banking sector
• Capacity to question, challenge and optimize existing processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate financial data in easy to understand business terms
• Fluent in English, French or German would be an asset
