Quintet is looking for a Transfer Pricing Specialist, who will report to the Head of Transfer Pricing. 
The role offers great visibility towards all of Quintet’s business and functions. The Transfer Pricing Specialist will work on all transfer pricing matters of the group, ranging from transfer pricing advisory on business organization to documentation to implementation and operational transfer pricing. The person should have the ability to make a positive and cooperative connection with people across the group, act as a business partner and as a result contribute to the success of the Transfer Pricing function. The person will have excellent analytical and communication skills, and be pragmatic, positive and eager to learn.
 

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Support definition, implementation and maintenance of the group’s transfer pricing strategy 
  • Support development, implementation and maintenance of transfer pricing policies and processes
  • Assist with internal and external ad hoc queries and advise on transfer pricing issues across the group
  • Proactively identify and manage transfer pricing risks
  • Provide project management and administration support on on-going transfer pricing projects
  • Liaise with different functions to get timely and accurate information
  • Identify the need for transfer pricing analysis and design
  • Perform annual health checks of the transfer pricing policies 
  • Perform functional and economic analyses 
  • Conduct functional interviews 
  • Prepare transfer pricing documentation 
  • Maintain and update intercompany agreements in line with transfer pricing requirements 
  • Contribute to the optimization of current processes and policies 
  • Provide support during audits 
  • Stay up to date with new developments in transfer pricing regulations and administrative practices 
  • Participate in the definition of operational transfer pricing processes (price setting, monitoring and adjusting) 
  • Provide support on reconciliation of transfer pricing policies to financial reporting
  • Oversee implementation of transfer pricing policies from an operational perspective 
  • Support transfer pricing automation process

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • Master’s degree in law, economics or finance
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience with consultancy firm and/or in-house
  • Experience with global documentation projects (not limited to loan pricing and back-to-back reports) 
  • Financial services (banking, asset management) experience is a plus 
  • Familiarity with operational transfer pricing is a plus

Technical Skills

 

  • Excellent numerical, writing and MS Office skills 

Languages Skills

 

  • Fluent English
  • French and other languages are an advantage
