Purpose of the Job

An opportunity to join the Wealth Planning team based in our new office in Spinningfields, Manchester. The successful candidate will work within a support role, providing administrative support to the Paraplanning team and Wealth Planning Advisors. This is an initial 6 month fixed term contract.

Key Accountabilities

To provide administration support in respect of client affairs including but not limited to processing of new business, meeting preparation, information gathering, maintenance of iO, preparation of application forms and paperwork. 
To maintain client files and records on iO through standing data amendments including new client set-up and deletion.
Answering client calls and queries professionally. 
Preparation of meeting packs ahead of client meetings
As required client contact, arrangement of meetings, annual reviews and similar activities. 
To manage the annual review process on iO in conjunction with the Advisor and Paraplanner. 
As required, to liaise with the operations and administration teams across the wider business. 
To reflect and adhere to culture of compliance in all relevant tasks and throughout the company
Develop own professional expertise through on the job training, formal training and, where appropriate, professional qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

Knowledge and experience of the UK wealth management industry or Financial Services
Experience of supporting a number of advisors, rather than on a 121 basis.
Competent at maintaining client data and communicating with clients

Attributes and Qualities

Good communication and written English skills.
Very good telephone manner, comfortable handling client queries
Excellent team working skills. 
Supports and encourages others to generate a positive working culture, sharing information cross-functions.
High accuracy and attention to detail is key
Well organised and efficient

Technical Skills

Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint).
Capable of using either G2 and Intelligent Office

Languages Skills

Fluent in English
