Purpose of the Job

 

The Head of Private Banking is responsible for all Front Office activities of Private Banking / Wealth Management (PB/WM) at InsingerGilissen / Quintet Netherlands (IG/QNL). Purpose of the role is to ensure growth of the PM/WM business at above market growth rates. Current AUM approximately 11 billion euro.

Ultimately responsible for the Front Office; all client-oriented Wealth Management activities. This includes the correct and timely delivery of the client proposition to clients and the growth of the number of clients or entrusted Wealth Management assets.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • First class delivery of the PB/WM value proposition to existing clients and as such drive customer satisfaction and growing share of wallet 
  • Commercial and operational management of all front office departments PB/WM (6 offices / 130 FTE / 20 million euro direct expenses)
  • Initiates, develops, formulates, implements and evaluates commercial plans leading to market share gains and structural revenue growth in PB/WM
  • Delivering set targets for Client File Remediation Program and ensuring the embedding of KYC as a core competence in the Front Office
  • Representative of the PB/WM Front Office in the Country Management Committee and carrying out decisions of Country Management towards the Front Office
  • Contributes to the development, formulation and adoption of the corporate strategy at local and group level
  • Accountable for compliance with applicable regulatory demands
  • Directing the conception, design and implementation of new service concepts for next generation PB/WM

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • Seasoned executive / expert:  sought out for advice in / outside the organisation, widely beyond function
  • Master Degree (Economics, Business Administration, Tax Law or other) supplemented with relevant (postdoc.) education
  • Registration with Federation for Financial Planning (FFP) and Dutch Securities Institute (DSI) 
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory framework for PB/WM
  • Good understanding of relevant products, processes and systems of the bank
  • Well versed with developments in financial markets and relevant products for PB/WM
