Purpose of the Job


The Market Data Specialist will:
•    Rationalise the MD category among the Quintet group through:
.the definition of streamlined and harmonised processes 
.rationalisation of MD category core deliverables/competences among Quintet group
.rationalisation of MD suppliers and their services reflecting Quintet group targeted MD category organisation.

•    Focus on costs in an efficient manner considering not only the MD suppliers base but also Quintet goup MD internal processes
•    Maintain the entire inventory of Licences reflecting the Market Data TOM
•    Service the group’s MD requirements globally

Key Accountabilities


•    Define, rollout and secure the MD TOM among the Quintet Group to ensure the application of efficient and rationalised processes to reach the MD deliverables and objectives. 
•    Design and submit strategic proposals to enhance MD category efficiency in terms of internal processes and/or supplier management.
•    Apply and update, based on business needs, the MD governance in order to closely monitor and control portfolio of engagements to contain overall spent and  avoid budget overrun 
•    Manage MD vendors relationships and build partnerships with key strategic vendors including key internal MD stakeholders ensuring that they understand and deliver on objectives,.
•    Work closely with the Procurement team on MD contracts (negotiation, execution on renewals, new contracts)
•    Be and act as the central point of contact for all Quintet group MD matters (contracts, audit, costs & budgets management, forecasting, invoices approvals, etc… 

Knowledge and Experience


•    Vendor management and negotiation skills Able to demonstrate a proven track record/experience of working within external vendors along with excellent business analysis skills and the ability to interpret and define business requirements and strategy.
•    Strong understanding of market data inventory systems, best practices and processes including knowledge of market data landscape such as but not limited  Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Factset and ESG Benchmark providers 
•    Experience managing and measuring supplier performance, and handling issues and escalations with suppliers.

•    High level understanding of investment data/terminology
•    Strong analytics & accuracy

Languages Skills


  • Fluent English, other languages advantageous
