Purpose of the Job

Quintet are seeking a Product Manager to support the Group Head of Product & Business Management in Product Governance activity across the group. The role involves co-ordination of Product Governance Committees and stakeholder engagement across Group Products & Solutions (GPS) as well as Risk, Compliance etc.

Key Accountabilities

1. To develop and manage the processes to implement strategic evolution of product governance.  Ensure the ongoing delivery and continuous improvement of the overall governance of our products and services.  Liaise with Front Office teams, the Chief Investment Office function, Risk management, Finance and Compliance colleagues with respect to our product governance processes.
2. To take ownership of our products and services in terms of product governance, with respect to the financial contribution; competitive positioning including product features and benefits, pricing, and structures; industry trends etc.; in conjunction with other stakeholders.
3. Ensure processes are in place to ensure client-facing product documentation (ie. T&Cs, KIID/KID, prospectus); and commercial documentation (ie. Product Governance documentation, product library, outsourcing contracts and service level agreements) are in place, supporting Product Teams/Owners where necessary to ensure obligations are met
4. Support a regular review programme for internal and external products;
5. Establish, define and manage processes regarding the Group Investment Universe and maintenance of existing products as they relate to Product Governance.
6. Involvement in initiatives/projects to ensure that any Product Governance impact is managed, amongst others this will include:
• Involvement in significant projects which impact upon Product Governance.
• Engaging with appropriate departments to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of Product Governance related projects.
7. To liaise with Compliance/Internal Audit/Risk Management on all Product Governance issues.
8. Support development of Product Governance Management Information
9.Represent the GPS Product Team in various formal and informal forums as required,
10. Develop own professional expertise through on the job training, formal training and, where appropriate, professional qualifications.

Knowledge and Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years experience within wealth management/financial services industry Knowledge and Experience of European regulatory framework (MiFID, EBA Guidelines, IDD, FCA etc) or general Product management desirable but not essential. 
Understands the importance of Risk Management within the context of the role and the Group’s regulatory obligations,
Academic background and professional qualifications desirable but not essential.

Languages Skills

Strong English language skills required  (both written and verbal)
Other languages desired but not essential
