Key Accountabilities


1. Client partner: the Investment Advisor will be the “Investment Specialist” at the kitchen table for our wealthy clients and their families, delivering the full Discretionary and Advisory offering, partnering with the Client Advisors, and being innovative and tenacious in meeting client needs:

- Lead for investment proposals & portfolio reviews for “bespoke” clients in discretionary & advisory
- Lead for delivering recommendation & executing client requests for “bespoke” advisory portfolios
- Provides the direction to discretionary portfolio managers on client needs & instructions for bespoke discretionary solutions. (PMs then manage the discretionary portfolios in line with CIO/IM value chain)
2. CIO / GPS partner: the voice of our CIO investment views and product recommendations to clients & Client Advisors for Quintet Luxembourg:

- Provide an active feedback loop to colleagues in CIO GPS on offering development, CIO in-vestment views, and product recommendations
- Create conviction with clients & CAs on CIO / GPS investment views & products
- Communications: raise the bar in quality of local delivery in all respects (investment proposals, portfolio reviews, holistic wealth reviews, etc)
3. Client solutions partner: ensure we drive a holistic approach to client relationships

- Support our Client Advisors, and partner with Lending and Planning, in driving growth.
4. Change partner: be an agent of change for strategic transformation

- Favour book transition according to Group objectives
- Support the transition to a functional value chain for investments

Knowledge and Experience


•    At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, or Portfolio Manager, Analyst, Client Advisors with a strong back-ground on portfolio construction

Attributes and Qualities


•    Flexible
•    Team spirit
•    Able to manage multiple interactions
•    Able to interact with UHN clients
•    International background (a Nordic background or previous experience with Nordics clients would be an advantage)
•    Able to deliver messages and advices to sophisticated clients but also able to be understood by less sophisticated clients

Technical Skills


•    Financial Market techniques / Portfolio construction

Languages Skills


•    Fluent in English 
•    Any other language will be considered an advantage
