Purpose of the Job

An exciting opportunity for an IT enthusiast looking to develop their career within IT and we will support through an apprenticehsip programme.

Purpose of the job will be to provide 1st and 2nd line IT Support primarily to the London office and to provide support to the IT Support Manager maintaining and supporting the local IT network and Infrastructure.

The role requires the individual to have the willingness to want to assist in supporting all aspects of the IT service and working with other teams where required.

Key Accountabilities

- 1st line desktop support in the London Office on an 8-4 10-6 shift basis.
- Handling and taking responsibility for IT Support requests via ticketing system.  Delegate if necessary.
- Support and maintain the mobile device estate.
- Provide support for Projects as requested by IT Management.
- Provide out of hours support for specific group infrastructure maintenance activities.
- To recognise that treating customers fairly is at the core of how we conduct our business
- Contribute to polices, processes and procedures
- Install, maintain and support new applications
- Work to SLA thresholds, when working on helpdesk requests.
- Trend Analysis and Problem management
- To develop own professional expertise through on the job training, formal training and, where appropriate professional qualifications
- Carry out any other duty as may be reasonably be required

Knowledge and Experience

Good communication skills ideally some experience of providing customer service.
A passion for IT
Eagerness to learn and be a team player.
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Willingness to travel to other company sites/locations in the UK

Technical Skills

Some experience of Active Directory
Some experience of supporting citrix desktops
Some Experience supporting Microsoft Office products.
