Purpose of the Job

The successful candidate will work as part of the Quintet Wealth Management business.  The purpose of the role is to drive and coordinate the sales management and business management activities within Quintet Luxembourg remit, in close collaboration with local business support teams and group functions such as GPS. This role is central to manage the business agenda locally, support delivery of local sales ambition, coordinate locally group-wide sales efforts and contribute to group initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support development of all markets served out of Luxembourg, from a strategic and commercial perspective
  • Act as sparring partner for the local Commercial leadership, equally challenging and supporting front teams while building sustainable partnering relationships with front teams
  • Identify required sales initiatives and drive them with identified owners and stakeholders
  • Steer business performance as part of defined performance management framework (e.g., performance dialogues, wealth management leadership team meetings, etc.)
  • Support local business-generation/business development activities and initiatives, and coordinate local implementation of group-wide bus dev initiatives
  • Drive and support delivery of NNM, NNL, and revenue ambition
  • Prepare and animate Front meetings, from Leadership to Team Leaders meeting and sessions with all Client Advisors 
  • Act as a first point of contact for Market Heads and Front Office colleagues on issues arising to allow Heads of WM to focus on delivery of business and strategic goals
  • Liaise and interact with MIS and BI teams to embed more usage of data and business insights to animate sales discussions at all levels of the organization
  • Drive Business Management activities with co-Heads of Wealth Management, including amongst others follow-up on CMC actions allocated to WM
  • Liaise with CLM, Compliance, Internal Audit and Risk Management as required on behalf of the Co-Heads of Wealth Management in relation to all actions relating to commercial activity, and support implementation of internal audit and risk mitigation actions as they arise while always acting within the risk appetite of the Bank
  • Act as Single Point of Contact gathering Front input to support PMO processes such as Demand capture, PAC, Innovation Lab, etc.
  • Act as the key change agent at local Quintet Luxembourg level with regard to commercial and strategic discussions 
  • Drive selected groupwide initiatives with the Group Business Development team
  • Coordinate and selectively support delivery of local business initiatives, especially for initiatives with cross-border or cross-entity dimensions
  • Act as key liaison for cross-border topics with Head of Group Cross-Border Business and Structure, 
  • Represent Quintet Luxembourg at the Cross-Border Coordination Meeting, and other forums on behalf of Co-Head of WM as required     

Knowledge and Experience

  • University degree and additional professional qualifications (e.g. CFA) are a plus
  • More than 5 years of experience within the wealth management industry
  • Required demonstrated sales management experience
  • Experience of stakeholder management at Executive Committee level and operating within a matrix environment
  • Experience/awareness of compliance and regulatory risks applicable to the banking industry in Europe
  • Experience with MIS and BI solutions a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills
  • Deep knowledge of the banking activities products and processes and general knowledge of the financial markets
  • Excellent knowledge of Office Suite (PPT, Excel)

Languages Skills

  • English (fluent / advanced)
